This incredible souvenir shorts came from the Subic Bay. Located in the west coast of the island of Luzon in the Philippines, was one of the most important USN facilities in the southeast Asia.
The Americans captured the Spanish base in 1899 during the Philippine-American War, and controlled the bay until 1991.
Based on the look and the side zip (Talon, that works super smooth), we can assume the shorts if from the late 70s.
The item is in great conditions, and ready to be wear in this hot summer.
